I have worked in logistics for just under 30 years, the last 7 of which as an independent consultant, working on numerous warehouse related projects for clients in a wide range of sectors.

Prior to consultancy work, I worked for various third party logistics companies, including Christian Salvesen, GXO, Kuehne and Nagel, and Unipart.  

My roles have included operational management roles as well running solutions design teams in UK and Germany. 

I have lived and worked in Germany, France and Spain and thus understand the complexities of working with different cultures, often on the same project.

I have a broad knowledge of all areas of logistics, especially warehousing and automation and can work and communicate comfortably at all levels within and organisation, which often proves invaluable when trying to get under the surface of complex operational and business problems. 

Technically, I cover all of the key requirements for almost all eventualities; from MS Office, to SQL server, CAD to Sketchup, simulation software to web design and bespoke web based applications.
