Create a future case logistics requirement in terms of warehouse space, storage etc
Sign off the future case upon which the solution will be designed
Design The Solution
We will propose a solution or a number of for each area of the operation.
We will look at a range of storage options to maximise utilisation, such as VNA or wide aisle, carton flow, shelving, double deep or live racking and also mezzanines
We will assess the best types of MHE for put-away and retrieval as well as picking
We will assess different picking strategies such as batch picking, multi-order picking, bulk pick and out-sort etc.
We will look at mechanisation and automation options and assess their ROI viability as well as flexibility for the future
We will build up the processes, step by step and produce a set of productivities
We will produce CAD drawings or 3D layouts, capital schedules and resource schedules per year
Implement The Solution
Once the solution design is completed, we will take this to the next stage and work with you through to implementation if required
We can produce specification documents for suppliers and create more detailed designs of bespoke items
We can liaise with suppliers and run tenders for racking and MHE if required
We will work alongside fitout companies and landlords and ensure the project is managed in a joined up manner
We will produce with you, a project plan, taking into account lead times and available resources and assign tasks where required
